Release Notes for
May 2022

This mid-May updates from Ozone include a host of advancements and improvements in features and workflows that have been built upon from our last release in April. Details follow:

Support for Harbor Webhook: Harbor is a CNCF-graduated project, that helps manage artifacts across cloud-native platforms like Docker and Kubernetes. It is an open-source registry that helps deliver compliance, performance, and interoperability with its policies and role-based access control and ensures images are scanned and are free from vulnerabilities.

Ozone now supports Harbor webhooks where pipelines and releases are triggered based on events (artifact push) on a Harbor Registry.

Improved Context for Private Cluster Management: A cluster can be private or public. This detail gets tagged as a cluster property. Once a user attaches a cluster, it can be tagged as a private cluster under its property, whereas, earlier, this used to be done by showing it as a specific cluster type.

This move helps in improving context across teams when clusters are viewed on the platform.

Default single sign-on (SSO): Single sign-on is a feature that streamlines the user experience and helps easily manage your licenses across multiple user teams across various identity providers.

In this release, default SSO is enabled in the settings section where administrators can enable SSO for one identity provider like Microsoft, AWS, etc per account. The default SSO allows users to move on directly to the authentication page. As a pre-requisite for this, the Azure Active Directory B2C is made optional.

User Guide: This release also comes with a link to our new user guide that helps users get quickly familiarized with our platform. From introducing you to what it can do to setting up your first projects, integrations, environments, and running pipelines, this comprehensive guide lets you know everything about Ozone.

The guide is constantly updated and can be accessed from here: https://docs.ozone.one/ozone-end-user-guide/
